Thematic Theatre; a new writing company, are preparing to bring new one-woman show BLUE TIGHTS, RED KNICKERS AND AN ‘S’ ON HER VEST to The Bread and Roses Theatre next week, July 10-14, 2018.
The play follows the central character; Jenna, and the ongoing effects of anxiety and workplace bulying on her mental and physical health.

The company’s co-founder Laura Shoebottom, began writing the piece during her third year at drama school. The then half hour one-woman show was performed as part of the school’s dissertation week, and since then, it has been developed and edited into a full-length production, with Shoebottom performing the role of Jenna, and company co-founder Liam Ashmead directing the piece.
Due to the nature of the performance, they will also be raising money for Mind throughout the run.

“Mental health awareness is something that is extremely close to both our hearts”, say Ashmead and Shoebottom. “We want to continue to support the charity as much as possible”.
