The yearly sell-out show is back! For the sixth year in a row (and the fourth time at The Bread & Roses Theatre), Goblin Baby Co. presents a V-Day benefit production of The Vagina Monologues! Being the only London theatre with a yearly production the show always sells out, so make sure to book as soon as you can.
Hailed by The New York Times as "funny" and "poignant" and by the Daily News as "intelligent" and "courageous," The Vagina Monologues, which was first performed off-Broadway by Eve Ensler, dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women’s experiences. Based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women, the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength with humor and grace. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For 20 years, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public. Concession prices apply to students; under 18s; pensioners; those on disability and unemployment benefits; Equity, BECTU & SDUK members; Portico Places cardholders. As a young venue we are still upgrading and developing the space, any additional donations are much appreciated and will be used towards improving the theatre even further and keeping the venue going in the long-term. |
