Produced by the in-house Bread & Roses Theatre Company, The Platform has been running regularly since October 2012 and has quickly established itself as an opportunity to discover, develop and explore new short plays and monologues for audiences as well as creatives. As the original project that triggered the eventual launch of The Bread & Roses Theatre, The Platform continues to provide actors, directors and writers with an opportunity to showcase their work.
Line-up for this season's production:
  • A Brief History of the World Told by a Dangerous Girl by  Effie Samara
directed by Giselle Ty,  with Cam Spence, Kate Nieland & Chris Keyna
  • Christmas Eve, Many Years From Now by Martha Patterson
directed by Yaron Shyldkrot,  with Natasha Santos, Lydia Lane & Ross Virgo
  • #NoFilter by Katie-Ann McDonough
directed by Lizeth Ribo,  with Gillian Horgan
  • The Special Ones by Richard Cabut
directed by Joe Allan,  with Steven Mortimer & Matt Betts
