Not many people can say they’ve had six wives but King Henners can. You’re wondering why they didn’t try marriage counselling? Wonder no more! Feast your eyes on the toils, tantrums and tears of Catherine3, Anne2 and … Jane. Not forgetting the most terrible king of all, Henry VIII.

Following successful performances at The Clapham and Guildford Fringes, Tickled Gecko comedically mixes pop-culture with historical truths, to show you what really hides behind those lavish Tudor curtains.

Audiences Responses:
“A masterful triple hander (with a little help from a few puppets)”
“Genuine adult version of Horrible Histories”
“A fun-filled romp through the life of Henry VIII, retold in a new way”

Henners
Matthew Farmer as King Henry VIII
Laura Hall as Catherine of Aragon, Jane Seymour, Kathryn Howard, Denise
Maddie O'Brien as Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Parr, Sharon
